Gandhi was good person. I had read his books.
But his ideology about dealing with minorities was very flawed. He was behaving as if muslims will get wiped out if they are not posessively protected. However the ground reality is other way round. With their massive demographic warfare they are not one requiring any protection. It is others who are in danger of being wiped out.
Perhaps if muslims had taken gestures of gandhi positively he could have been correct in his way towards minorities as well. But alas he kept giving concessions much like present congress only to have the country divided.
